Why confidentiality matters to our clients

Our confidentiality commitments

 

  • NDA first. No materials are shared without an executed NDA and buyer identity verification.
  • Need‑to‑know access. Data is shared in stages (teaser → CIM → Q&A) based on bona fides, fit, and process milestones.
  • Secure exchange. We use encrypted transfer and audited file access for all sensitive documents.
  • Buyer screening. We verify capital, strategy, and track record before granting data access.
  • Minimal disclosure marketing. Teasers avoid names and identifying details; we control all outbound communications.
  • Tight Q&A control. We centralize all buyer questions; responses are curated to limit over‑sharing.
  • Document retention & deletion. Access is time‑boxed; files are revoked and deleted at process end.deal.

What happens next

  • You’ll receive a confirmation of receipt.
  • Files are stored in a restricted, access‑logged workspace.
  • Only your deal team has access; buyer access is staged and NDA‑bound. 

File hygiene tips

  • Export to PDF where possible; use password protection for spreadsheets if preferred.
  • Remove unnecessary PII (SSNs, DOBs) from HR docs or send via a separate encrypted channel.
  • Use clear filenames (e.g., 2023-2025_P&L_vFinal.pdf). 

What we will never do

  • Share your name or materials outside the staged, NDA‑protected process.
  • Blast email lists with your information.
  • Disclose customer lists or pricing without strict need‑to‑know protections.
  • Pressure you to inform employees or customers before you’re ready.. 

FAQs

  • Will my employees or competitors find out?
    Our marketing is blind, buyer lists are curated, and access is gated behind NDAs with watermarked materials and logged downloads.
  • How do you screen buyers?
    We validate fund size, strategy fit, and track record; we also require principal‑level engagement before any access.
  • Do I have to use your NDA?
    No. We can use yours or tailor ours. Either way, nothing moves without a signed NDA.
  • What information do you need first?
    High‑level financials (last 3 years + TTM), customer concentration, backlog, headcount, and core operations summary. Sensitive items (customer names, pricing) are staged later.
  • How long do you keep my documents?
    Only for the duration required by the mandate and legal/record‑keeping obligations; then we archive or delete per our retention policy.efore you’re ready..
