Mark has become an industry leader as one of the Top Producing M&A Business Brokers in the country. As an experienced M&A Business Broker Mark has worked with an extensive list of Private Equity Firms and has cultivated tremendous relationships with them.
As an experienced CCIM Commercial Broker Mark has worked with an extensive list of banks, asset managers, private equity firms, REITs, and institutional firms.
Mark has closed more than $1.5 billion in Commercial and M&A Business Transactions and his annual volume continues to escalate year-after-year.

Douglas has forty-seven years of success and history with M&A experience working with privately held middle-market businesses. His experience is broad and deep. He is able to successfully transcend industry lines because critical knowledge lies in knowing how to sell a business rather than focusing on narrow market segments. Doug’s industry-leading work spans corporate strategy, private equity investing, and related disciplines. With more than 1,000 projects completed across virtually all industries and geographies, he brings unparalleled experience and expertise to every facet of M&A consulting. Doug’s specialty is directing the initial phase of a mergers and acquisitions transaction and choosing the M&A target. His specialized and focused methodical targeting is the key to his high success rates. Helping his clients create strategic, replicable merger and acquisition processes to drive successful corporate unions. Doug Leads his corporate development team and stays involved in the numerous steps throughout all aspects of the transaction. Doug was the founding member of Automotive Capital Corp (ACC), which was established in 1994 in Birmingham, Alabama. The scaling and growth of ACC carved out many niches within the merger and acquisition-secured retail debt sector. ACC grew tremendously and developed many merger and acquisition footholds, acquiring hundreds of millions in bulk-performing receivables and providing point-of-sale financing and purchase-secured debt portfolios.
President Terry W. Humphryes, CPA, CIRA, CFE
Terry Humphryes founded his own accounting firm in 1977 and today operates under the name of Humphryes & Arnett, P.C. His firm offers clients comprehensive accounting services that provide them with an advisor who can assist with in-depth accounting analysis and extensive business growth and forensic consulting services. Terry is the president of Humphryes & Arnett, P.C. and is the partner responsible for the technical review of audit and financial reporting engagements. He has extensive experience in providing expert testimony in complex business litigation cases. He has been retained in numerous litigation as an expert in both civil and criminal cases for more than 30 years. Terry‘s services have included expert testimony, damage calculations, valuations, and forensic investigations. He has testified in Court or been deposed in cases under the jurisdiction of Federal and State Courts in Alabama, New York, Connecticut, California, and Georgia dating back to 1978. Terry developed a niche in the areas of bankruptcy and reorganization services. He has also served as a court-appointed accountant, trustee, and receiver. Terry is a 1974 graduate of the University of Alabama. He holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Insolvency Reorganization Accountant (CIRA), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Association of Insolvency Accounts (AIA), the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). He is also a past chairman of the ASCPA’s Small Business Committee. He was nominated and selected to serve on the 1989 Birmingham Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Development group, which is comprised of 40 accomplished business leaders under 40 years of age. Terry is a past president of the Action Civitan Club of Birmingham. Terry’s 47 years of forensic accounting experience provides in-depth and professional guidance for business owners to achieve success in their M&A transactions and overcome any obstacles leading to a successful sale.
